I am Ingrid Gorigoitia, a visual artist.

I grew up among mountains, where I learned that nature is freedom and art is a language without borders. From a young age, art became both my refuge and my roots. I watched my father transform metal and stone into sculptures, losing myself in the alchemy of his darkroom, where light turned into memory.

Although agricultural trade occupied me for many years, art was always my compass. I trained in the studios of great masters such as Federico Cifuentes Ramos and Paquito Zañartu, at the Rancagua Museum, and at the legendary Taller 99, where printmaking revealed a path of my own—rich in texture, contrast, and silence. It led me to establish my own studio and to teach for 14 years.

Art is my personal diary, the space where I release anger and find reconciliation. It is my way of leaving a mark, of speaking to time, and of trying to better the world around us.

I have exhibited my work in Chile, the United States, France, England, and Italy—leaving a piece of my essence in each place, a testament to this endless journey I call life.
